Ethics & Compliance Office Overview

The Ethics & Compliance Office is responsible for developing and managing the Ethics & Compliance program across the Mubadala Group and to promote a culture of professionalism and integrity. The Office reports to the Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee of the Board of Directors.

The responsibilities of the Ethics & Compliance Office include, among other things:

  • Establishing a framework for educating, enabling, and empowering adherence to the Group Code of Conduct, Group Compliance Policies, and applicable laws and regulations
  • Seeking to prevent unlawful or unethical business conduct and detecting if it occurs
  • Proactively building a foundation of policies and processes to safeguard the Mubadala Group
  • Assessing compliance risks and ensuring that internal controls are responsive to such risks
  • Providing compliance training and communications support
  • Managing the internal compliance reporting and investigation process
  • Preparing compliance performance and assessment reports for the CRB, the CEO and the Mubadala Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee

Training & Engagement

The Mubadala Group has implemented a training program to ensure that you understand what is required of you by the Mubadala Group Code of Conduct and supporting policies. This includes the acknowledgment that you are required to make annually that you have read, understand and will comply with the requirements contained in our Code of Conduct.

Raise a Question or Report a Concern

The Ethics & Compliance Helpline is managed by the Ethics & Compliance Office, which will look into your concern and ensure an appropriate investigation and follow-up. All concerns will be tracked with an identification number so those who prefer to remain anonymous can follow up to receive a response or provide more information. We encourage you in good faith to raise any compliance question or concern. You can be assured that retaliation of any kind directed against anyone who reports an issue concerning the Code of Conduct will not be tolerated.
